The annual Wondai Community Meet’n’Greet was held this afternoon in Coronation Park.

The get-together encourages old and new residents to meet and  become involved in local community organisations.

There was live entertainment on stage plus a gold coin donation sausage sizzle, with proceeds going to the Mayor’s Red Earth South Burnett Flood Appeal.

Groups represented in the park included the Wondai Chamber of Commerce, the Rural Fire Service, the Wondai Show Society and the Duke of Strathearn Masonic Lodge.

The event also provided an opportunity for the Wondai Chamber of Commerce to launch their new Business Directory pamphlet and for the South Burnett Regional Council to gain feedback on their proposed makeover of Cornation Park and the CBD.
