A 32-year-old trailbike rider who suffered serious injuries after crashing at a motocross track in Cooyar this morning has been airlifted to hospital.
An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the Redcliffe man was attempting to land a jump when he lost control of his bike, crashing off the side of the track.
He suffered multiple fractures to his shoulder, arm and leg.
The helicopter’s flight doctor and paramedic stabilised the man’s injuries before he was airlifted about 11:30am to the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

On Saturday, the AGL helicopter was called to a property near Colinton about 12:34pm to help a 39-year-old man who was injured when he fell from a horse.
The man was holidaying at a property bordering the Brisbane River and the D’Aguilar Highway when his horse reared, throwing him to the ground.
He suffered bruising and a possible fracture to his left leg.
The man was treated at the scene by the helicopter’s flight doctor and paramedic before being airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
