Drivers can expect delays again on the Blackbutt Range after Easter to allow more slope stabilisation work to occur.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads said today that from Tuesday, April 2, there would be single lane closures occurring along a 1.6km section of the D’Aguilar Highway.

These lane closures would give work crews better access to the sites where slope stabilisation works are ongoing.

Lane closures would occur between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday.

“There will be traffic signals, traffic controllers and a patrol vehicle on site. Short delays can be expected. Wide loads cannot access the Blackbutt Range during work hours.” a department spokesman said.

“These arrangements will continue until the completion of the project in approximately two months, weather permitting.
