A 59-year-old Upper Yarraman woman has been killed when her car and a tip truck collided near Neumgna at the top of the Cooyar Range this evening.
A police spokesman confirmed the woman was the driver and sole occupant of the car.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The incident occurred about 5:10pm just past the intersection of the New England Highway and Kingaroy-Cooyar Road.
The crash delayed traffic for several hours however the highway has now re-opened after the removal of the wrecked truck.
The Police Forensic Crash Unit attended the site of the incident.
