The Kingaroy Stock Squad has received numerous calls regarding the loss or location of stray livestock following the flood events since January.
“We are asking if property owners in the Wide Bay area locate stray livestock to please take notice of identifying marks, including brands, earmarks or NLIS device numbers and contact our office on (07) 4160-4900 if you require assistance to locate the owners,” a Stock Squad spokesman said.
“It must be noted that all stray livestock are subject to ownership and must be returned to the rightful owner.”
