Hivesville Markets held their post-flood markets last Sunday with 20 stalls and a great crowd.

During the day Certificates of Appreciation for continuous devotion since the inception of the markets were presented to Irene McDonald, Ken and Nalda Seng, Lyn Ramscar, Noel Chesterton and Marta Lefeburn.

Two additional certificates were presented to the Proston Line Dancers and the Hivesville Hotel for their continuous support of the markets.

The Proston CWA Ladies won a $100 bet if they wore their funny hats for the day. These hats were supplied by Peter the Hat Man.

The next Hivesville Country Markets will be held on Sunday, March 24, at the Hivesville Oval.

The Easter Bunny will be there and will be giving out Easter eggs to all children (and adults who are young at heart).
