A fire which damaged a truck and threatened a home near Goomeri last night is now extinguished.

An Emergency Services spokesman said multiple crews were called the scene on Goomeribong Road.

Initially it was feared that several houses may be at risk.

They made the fire safe and left it burning within containment lines overnight.

About 10ha was burned.
