The South Burnett Regional Council has postponed a series of four Preferred Supplier Meetings planned for Blackbutt, Nanango, Kingaroy and Wondai.
The meetings were due to be held this week and next but will now be held at a future time once regional transport systems have been restored after recent flooding.
The SBRC puts together a new Preferred Supplier list every two years.
It’s keen to see as many local suppliers and trades people list themselves as possible.
The SBRC can potentially spend $22 million per year with local businesses.
