The Goodchild Shield cricket final between South Burnett and Bundaberg will now be played on Sunday, February 10.
The match, at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy, had been originally scheduled for February 3 but the date has been changed to avoid a clash with a carnival being played in Mundubbera.
Kingaroy earned the right to host the final after clocking up a better run rate than Bundaberg during the competition.
The South Burnett’s net run rate was 1.1173 and Bundaberg’s was 0.3441.
UPDATE February 9: Because of the floods, the match has been postponed to February 24.
