CTC staff with the gifts gathered together for the Adopt-A-Family for Christmas Appeal

December 14, 2012

Every year the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family for Christmas Appeal brightens the lives of local families facing adversity at Christmas time.

This year, CTC Employment Services Gympie and Partners in Foster Care supported a family that was at risk of not being sponsored due to the large number of family members. The family included two adults and eight children (four girls and four boys), ranging in age from 3 to 16 years old.

Partners in Foster Care provided a blanket for each child and numerous knitted toys which were handmade and donated by the South Burnett Knitters’ Club.

Gympie Employment Services purchased a number of gifts and festive foods for the family to enjoy over the Christmas season.
