Four fire crews are attending a grass fire which broke out at Hansen’s Road in Speedwell at 12:45pm today.
Emergency Services reported the fire was contained behind breaks by 2:30pm and that back-burning was now in progress.
No property was put at risk by the fire, nor were any persons injured.
Fire crews will continue to monitor the situation.
