A Kingaroy student has earned an important award from the Brisbane School of Distance Education.
Year 11 student Eline Beijsins, 16, from St Mary’s Catholic College, has been presented with a Senior School Subject Award for Ancient History.
Eline is one of two students at St Mary’s who took subjects this year via Distance Education.
Her supervisor, teacher Chris Cook, said the award meant Eline had topped all Distance Education students in the subject.
The Brisbane School of Distance Education serves students from around Queensland and the world.
