Damien Sippel will take over the captain’s role for the South Burnett XI’s second Goodchild Shield match, which will played in Bundaberg on Sunday.
The South Burnett defeated Fraser Coast in their opening Goodchild Shield match played at Maryborough on October 7.
The Goodchild Shield is contested by four A Grade teams: South Burnett, Fraser Coast, Gympie and Bundaberg.
One match will be played each month before the final is played in January.
