A 12-year-old boy who crashed his motocross bike at the Manar Park track, near Proston, yesterday was airlifted to hospital by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter.

It is believed the child, from Brisbane, fell while attempting a jump.

He suffered serious injuries to his lower arm and was treated by the helicopter’s flight doctor and flight paramedic at the scene.

The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter airlifted the boy to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
