Two people were treated for minor smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire at the Yarraman Hotel-Motel in Margaret Street this afternoon.
Four urban and town fire crews were called at 2:53pm after smoke was seen coming from the building.
Firefighters who entered the kitchen area found heavy smoke and some flames.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
One person was transported to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance for treatment for smoke inhalation while another was treated at the scene.
Investigations into the cause are continuing.
