The final term of the 2012 school year starts on Monday, October 8.
And so does the 40km/h speed limit around all the region’s schools.
Lollipop ladies will be manning pedestrian crossings again, and police are urging motorists to bear the reduced limits in mind after the Spring vacation.
The new term will run until mid-November for Year 12s and the end of November for Year 10s.
Schools will close for the summer vacation on Friday, December 14.
