Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club is planning to hold a Summer Seven-A-Side mid-week soccer competition under lights at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy.

The proposed competition would start in the first week in November and finish in the second week in December.

It would be open to current registered players and teams from the South Burnett as well as social players.

It would be run in two Divisions:

  • A Competitive Division of six teams
  • A Social Division of six teams, which would also be mixed gender with no restriction on ages or ability

The Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club is calling for expressions of interest from players and teams to participate in both competitions.

Referees would be drawn from the ranks of the South Burnett Referees.

The club says the Social Division would be perfect for retired players (male and female) to come back and have a hit out.

“It’s ideally suited for the mums and dads who haven’t played for a few years, Junior Coaches who might be new to the game because their children are playing, or people who just want to keep fit in a social game environment,” a spokesman said.
