The RACQ CareFlight helicopter flew from Toowoomba on Saturday to assist an injured motorbike rider at the Manar Park motocross facility north-west of Kingaroy.

A helicopter spokesman said the rider had hit a barbed wire fence and suffered lacerations to his right arm. He was flown to Toowoomba General Hospital for treatment.

The RACQ’s Gold Coast crew was also called in to the local area on Saturday, flying a child with post-operative complications to Toowoomba Hospital.
