A concert by wacky Wickety Wak frontman Greg Doolan and his wife Laura was the highlight of the 2nd annual “Colours of Yarraman” festival at the weekend.

The four-day celebration of Spring was centred around Errol Munt Park on Sunday with market stalls, kids’ rides, a sausage sizzle and local displays.

A crowd gathered under a marquee on Sunday afternoon to enjoy the free concert.

There was also a special bowls carnival held over the weekend, and an art and photography contest in the Yarraman Community Hall.

Organisers are already looking ahead to next year’s event, pencilling in the October long weekend (October 4-7).
