Rural fire crews are on the scene of two bushfires in different parts of the South Burnett today.
At Maidenwell, five firecrews are currently fighting a fire that is on both sides of Coleman Road. No structures are believed to be under threat. Fire fighters were called to the scene at 1:00pm.
At Wilkesdale, firecrews have contained a fire burning in Giblin Road and are now conducting backburning and mopping up operations. They were called to the site at 9:30am and had the fire under control at 12:54pm. Five rural crews are in attendance.
