Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Ambassador entrant Rebecca Lee – who is being sponsored by her employer Toowoomba Golden West and South Burnett Tourism – will be hosting a charity regional food luncheon in Toowoomba on August 31.
The two-course lunch, to be held at The Downs Club, will have a focus on regional people, regional food and regional wine.
Ms Lee said there would also be an auction, lucky door prizes, entertainment and a special prize for the best dressed in a splash of yellow.
All money raised from the event will go to the R U OK? charity, a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on suicide prevention.
Tickets cost $55.
