Bloomin’ Beautiful is a week-long event featuring shows, exhibitions, literary events, music, workshops and activities all taking place in Blackbutt.
Organisers are looking to animate the streets with sight, sound and spectacle from September 1-9.
If you’re a musician, living statue, performance artist, poet, or just think you’ve got what it takes to entertain the public – the festival organisers want to hear from you.
The focus for the festival is arts, culture, garden and country.
As part of this festival, buskers and street performers are encouraged to perform at one of a number of allocated footpath sites or major venues in Blackbutt.
There will be a series of “unplugged” street busking locations.
“This is a brilliant opportunity for buskers to get their music heard and for street artists to showcase their work. It also provides the perfect opportunity to create a fabulous atmosphere within the village,” Festival committee chairman Jeff Connor said.
“The crowds will be out in full force and we hope you will be too!”
