The South Burnett Youth Choir performing in the Wondai Regional Art Gallery

August 7, 2012

South Burnett’s got talent? You bet we have … and it was all on display in Wondai at the weekend.

While local artworks adorned the walls of the Wondai Regional Art Gallery, local singers filled the air with music.

The gallery hosted a choral afternoon on Sunday featuring all local talent.

The award-winning Blackbutt Singers were the main act and entertained a packed main gallery with their performances, including their popular – and very realistic – performance as nuns.

Also on the bill were the South Burnett Youth Choir and the Wondai Community CWA Choir.

The musical performances were followed by afternoon tea, served by the gallery’s volunteers.
