A 16-year-old girl has been charged after an incident at Cherbourg last night that left a woman with facial injuries.
Police allege the 31-year-old woman was struck in the face with a glass bottle outside a residence on Jerome Street about 7:00pm.
She sustained a deep cut above her left eye and was treated at Cherbourg Hospital.
The teenager was charged with grievous bodily harm and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
