A 52-year-old man riding a motorcycle was seriously injured in a crash on the D’Aguilar Highway earlier today.
Police said initial information suggested a car and a bike collided about 11:30am on the D”Aguilar Highway at D’Aguilar (near Woodford).
The incident closed the highway for a time and caused long delays.
The man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries.
A 69-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
UPDATE August 3, 2012: A 52-year-old Spring Hill man died this morning as a result of injuries sustained in the serious traffic crash at D’Aguilar yesterday.
