The Kingaroy State Emergency Service has been recognised by the South Burnett Masonic Lodge for its continuing support of the community, both in times of emergencies and disasters, as well as its assistance with various community activities and events.

“The Lodge wishes to recognise the selfless efforts of the Kingaroy State Emergency Service volunteers. Without fail, these volunteers leave their homes and workplaces in order to support the community when it is most in need,” Brendon Leach said on behalf of the Lodge.

“Such dedication and commitment deserves recognition. As a gesture of thanks from the South Burnett Masonic Lodge, I am pleased to present this plaque of acknowledgment to Kingaroy SES volunteers.”

The Lodge also presented the SES with a large number of folding tables for use in its training venue as well as in the field.

“It is humbling to accept these tables and plaque on behalf of all the members,” Kingaroy SES Local Controller John Kefford said.

“Members enjoy their roles in support of their community and are very appreciative of the support they receive. Such displays of support as that given by the South Burnett Masonic Lodge really boost our morale and make our efforts all the more worthwhile.”
