July 27, 2012

More than 100 past and present members and supporters of the Taromeo Country Music Club gathered at the Blackbutt Community Hall on Sunday to celebrate the club’s 20th birthday.

The club, which was formed by members of the Sempf family and their friends, has had many members pass through its ranks over the years, and many of these returned for the special celebration which was held instead of the club’s regular Sunday social.

Lunch was served as club members (both past and present) took to the stage to entertain.

The Taromeo CMC meets every two months at Blackbutt  Community Hall and often features guest artists from visiting clubs.

For more information about the club, contact Annette Sutcliffe on (07) 4163-0290.
