The State Government has announced the appointment of a new director to Stanwell Corporation Limited.
Treasurer and Trade Minister Tim Nicholls said the appointment, approved at a meeting of the Governor in Council yesterday, would help to reinvigorate the State-owned entity.
Mr Paul Breslin is a former Director-General of the Department of Minerals and Energy.
In 2002 he was part of the four-member Council of Australian Governments Review into Australian Energy Markets. Until recently he worked for ACIL Tasman.
