A passenger was airlifted to hospital after this single vehicle crash this morning

A 65-year-old Caboolture woman was airlifted to hospital this morning after the vehicle in which was travelling rolled on the D’Aguilar Highway at Stoney Creek, just east of Kilcoy.

An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the woman was one of two passengers injured in the single vehicle accident. The driver escaped harm.

The helicopter landed beside the highway to allow its flight doctor and paramedic to treat the woman for suspected spinal injuries.

She was airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.  The other passenger was transported by road ambulance.
