Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their contribution to Australian farming?
You can nominate yourself, or someone you know, in the 2012 Australian Farmer of the Year awards, sponsored by the Kondinin Group and ABC Rural.
There are 10 categories:
- Farm Industry Leader of the Year
- Young Farmer of the Year
- Livestock Producer of the Year
- Wool Producer of the Year
- Horticultural Producer of the Year
- Biosecurity Farmer of the Year (plant and animal)
- Dairy Farmer of the Year
- Grain Grower of the Year
- Diversification Farmer of the Year
- Farming Woman of the Year
The winner of each of the 10 award categories will compete for the prestigious Farmer of the Year Award.
Nominations close on August 3.
The awards will be presented at a dinner at The Grand Hyatt hotel in Melbourne on September 12.
