A 19-year-old Dalby man has been airlifted to hospital in a stable condition after he failed to make a jump at a motocross track near Proston today.

An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the man was riding at the Manar Park track when he lost control and fell.

The helicopter’s flight doctor and flight paramedic treated him for suspected head and internal injuries.

He was airlifted to Nambour General Hospital.
