The Paul Harris Fellowship honours Rotary founder and Chicago lawyer Paul Harris who began the movement in 1905.

Three of the people awarded the prestigious honour in Kingaroy on Monday night were not Rotarians:
- Cr Keith Campbell – for his work with Kingaroy Meals on Wheels, Orana and St John’s Lutheran Church.
- Marj McKewen – for her work with the Kingaroy Hospital Auxiliary and the Uniting Church.
- Mick North – for his work with local football.
The two Rotarians honoured were Tony Kavanagh, for his work with junior rugby league and Rotary; and Norm Waters, for his work work with Rotary.
