The South Burnett Thrashers rugby union team travelled to Highfields last Saturday to play their postponed Round 4 match against Highfields.

The original match was washed out in April.

Unfortunately, the team’s horror run in the B Grade Downs competition continued as they were defeated 43-0.

However this week’s game against Dalby could be much closer. The Wheatmen have also had an unlucky season so far, notching up just two victories.

The South Burnett managed to scored 29 points against them in Round 1, their closest game this season.

This match was originally scheduled to be played in Kingaroy but will now be played in Dalby.

The South Burnett’s next home game – only the second so far this year – will be played the following week (June 23) when the Thrashers host Goondiwindi at the St Mary’s Catholic College Oval in Kingaroy from 1:30pm.
