The May markets featured a large range of stalls

The Wondai Markets were a special super-size event on Saturday, held in conjunction with the annual Wondai Hospital Auxiliary Fete.

A good crowd packed into Coronation Park to browse through the stalls and enjoy the live entertainment on stage.

Wondai Hospital Auxiliary president Eileen Beer said the day went “fantastically well” with more than $2500 being raised for the Auxiliary. These funds will help to provide assets for Wondai Hospital and the Forest View Nursing Home.

The Auxiliary organised a monster raffle which had 70 prizes – all donated by local businesses or individuals.

Eileen thanked the prize sponsors but also reserved special praise to her volunteers who worked hard selling tickets.
