Police have advised that the Burnett Highway is currently (1:45pm) closed in both directions 30km north of Monto.
Two trucks have collided head-on, and are stuck on the highway at present.
A load of cattle is also on the highway.
There is no further information available at this time, and there is no estimated time that the highway will re open.
