Wondai Regional Art Gallery will be hosting its 14th Annual Acquisitive Art competition in June.
This year’s theme is “Year of the Farmer”. The winning artist will receive $1000 prize money and their artwork will become part of the collection at the Wondai Art Gallery.
As well as the acquisitive section there will be another five sections. These will include Oil or Acrylic, Pastel, Hand Built
Pottery and Water Colour. These sections are not acquisitive and have prize money of $200 for each. There will also be a People’s
Choice which is voted on opening night with $100 prize money/vouchers.
Murgon State School will have a display in Kidz Korner.
The exhibition will be officially opened on Friday, June 1, from 6:00pm.
Entry on the night is $5 per adult and there will be finger food and punch provided. Wine will be available for purchase from Crane Wines.
