Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 27-year-old local woman missing from Gympie since yesterday afternoon.
The woman was last seen by a family member leaving a Nicholls Road address on foot heading towards Brisbane Road around 4:00pm yesterday.
She is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with long brown hair, blue eyes and a small build.
At the time, the woman was wearing blue jeans, a white cream top, a black jumper and a brown and green camouflage Billabong hat. The woman also had a handbag with her at the time.
Police are appealing for anyone with information as to the woman’s whereabouts, or the woman herself, to contact them as soon as possible.

The woman has now been located safe and well.
