The Toowoomba Bears proved too strong for the South Burnett Thrashers in their Downs Rugby match in Toowoomba yesterday, but the Thrashers were by no means disgraced.

They are yet to record a win this season in the B Grade competition but their stats are improving.

South Burnett managed to hold the Bears to 29 points, and recorded 10 points of their own against the competition leaders.
