John Miller and PCA’s fully restored 1934 Dodge … first place

May 8, 2012

The Peanut Company of Australia’s fully restored KC30 Dodge took out first place in the “30 years & over” category at the Truck Show’n’Shine held as part of the annual Kingaroy Show at the weekend.

The old truck – which has become PCA’s corporate mascot – has been guided since 2008 by PCA’s IT Manager John Miller.

Amazingly PCA is only the old Dodge’s second owner. It was used on the Melbourne waterfront for many years before passing through the hands of several members of the original owner’s family and ending up in NSW.

The vehicle was lovingly restored in the South Burnett by local experts including Gary Sellick and Col O’Hanlon. The pinstriping was done by hand by Brendon Leach from BL Custom Signs at Crawford.
