The South Burnett Thrashers rugby union side were defeated by USQ Saints 33 to 13 yesterday in their Round 5 match of the 2012 Downs Rugby B Grade competition.

The game – which had been scheduled as a home match for the Thrashers – was shifted to the USQ Ground in Toowoomba at the last minute because of a mix-up over scheduling.

The Thrashers are yet to draw blood this season, although their Round 4 match against Highfields, which was postponed because of heavy rain, will be rescheduled.

They have a bye in Round 6. Their next scheduled match is a home game against the Toowoomba Bears in Kingaroy on May 19.
