The 78th annual Blackbutt Show will be held this Saturday at the showgrounds in Hart Street.
There’ll be all the usual fun of the fair, including a free animal nursery, ute muster, post ripping and woodchopping, but this year there’ll also be an all-new sideshow alley and cooking demonstrations by South Burnett chef Jason Ford.
Stud cattle, horses, poultry, miniature goats and alpacas will add a rural flavour.
The popular Bull and Bronco Rodeo will start at 5:30pm. And if you’re feeling a bit sheepish about watching the bulls, this year there’ll also be a woolly jumbuck ride.
Country singer Arthur Nettelfield will be providing the musical entertainment from 8:00pm to midnight.
Entry is $12 for adults, and $10 for children over 10 and pensioners (with card). Children under 12 are free.
