The Cherbourg-Murgon Reconnect program will receive $208,060 in federal funding for 2012-13.
Federal Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss said the funding would supports early intervention to help young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and their families.
Reconnect also builds community capacity to address youth homelessness.
“This funding assists the efforts and the effectiveness of the Cherbourg-Murgon Reconnect service and the people who deliver the program, providing support services for young people and their families,” Mr Truss said.
“The program helps to reconnect young people at risk with community, employment and social services to give them a better future.”
