The South Burnett Thrashers’ run of bad luck in the Downs Rugby B Grade comp continued at the weekend, going down 38-12 against the Condamine Cods at TJ O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy.
The Cods started strongly, scoring quick tries in succession.
The Thrashers crossed the line twice, with Ian MacLachlan and Kirk Parker both scoring tries.
For the Cods, Ben McLennan picked up a hat-trick.
The Thrashers will hit the road again next week, coming up against UQ / Highfields at home in Round 4.
