Round 1 of the newly revamped South Burnett rugby league competition will kick off this weekend with games in Cherbourg, Kingaroy and Wondai.
In the seniors, the Nanango Stags will take on the Hornets at Cherbourg, the Red Ants will play the Murgon Mustangs in Kingaroy and the Blackbutt-Yarraman Timbertowners will face defending premiers the Wolves in Wondai.
The junior matches will mirror the senior except at Wondai where a combined Central Burnett and Blackbutt Juniors team will play Wondai Juniors.
