The revived markets at Yallakool were a big success on Easter Sunday and manager Peter Divljak says they’ll definitely be on again next year.
“People came from the coast with stalls and I’ve already been contacted by one stallholder who wants to come again,” he said.
It’s been a few years since markets have been held at Bjelke-Petersen Dam but that didn’t stop local interest with about 30 stalls and car-loads of people turning up.
On Saturday afternoon, there were 841 people booked into Yallakool Park.
