AGL medical team tends to the man before airlift

A 40-year-old Toowoomba man has been airlifted to hospital in a stable condition after his motorcycle crashed near Cooyar this morning.

An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the rider apparently lost control of his bike which slid off the road on its side.

He was taken by ambulance to a nearby oval where the helicopter’s flight doctor and flight paramedic stabilised a serious leg injury before he was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
