Feel like getting funky with a teapot? All in the name of art and the Tractor Tattoo?
Kingaroy-based arts group Jumping Ant Arts will be holding a Funky Teapot Fun Day on July 8-9 in Kingaroy to teach participants how to craft a slab teapot.
Potential teapot makers need no experience and they’ll be guided by ceramic artist Suvira McDonald who will spend two days doing demonstrations and providing hands-on guidance.
The finished teapots will be displayed during the “Tea and Tractors” exhibition at the Kingaroy Art Gallery in September which will be held in conjunction with the huge Tractor Tattoo festival of arts, crafts and music.
Cost to take part in the workshop, which will be held at the old 1913 Council Chambers, is $10.
