The annual Nanango Show – now celebrating its 103rd year – will get underway at 7:00am this Saturday.
This year’s event features a spectacular line-up of evening entertainment to complement all the usual daytime show activities.
The popular show rodeo kicks off at 4:00pm, followed by motorcycle stunt riders at 7:00pm, Heritage fireworks at 7:30pm and a helicopter jump at 8:00pm. Music will be provided by the Midnight Memphis Movers.
During the daytime there’ll be cattle judging, horse events in the ring, a championship dog show, wood chopping, post-ripping, chainsaw and speed cutting as well as displays of alpacas, poultry, pigeons and caged birds.
Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for aged pensioners, children over 14 or unaccompanied children. Children under 14 accompanied by a paying adult are admitted free.
Car parking is available for $2.
