A 47-year-old man has been airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition after crashing his quad bike while mustering cattle at Sunny Nook, near Cloyna.

An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the man was travelling at a moderate speed when he lost control of the bike and hit a fence post.

The helicopter’s flight doctor and flight paramedic treated him for possible spinal injuries.
