Anglers are flocking to spend their Easter break at Yallakool Park on Bjelke-Petersen Dam.
Manager Peter Divljak said today there were more than 440 people already at the dam, with another 60 sites booked. Only a few unpowered sites were left and these would be filled by the weekend.
Yallakool has some special events planned for Easter: tonight and Saturday night an open-air family movie will be screened.
On Sunday the huge Easter markets will run from 7:00am to 1:00pm with 30 market stalls and activities for children, including face-painting and a circus school.
